Background: a startup app development company found success and sustainable business in multi-waypoint route planning, which simply means a route with multiple stops. Think FedEx drivers, salespeople, and in-home service providers; the more stops on a route, the more potential time or distance savings with efficient planning.
As the company looked to continue market-share growth, it was decided that a rebrand and website were necessary to elevate and distinguish the brand within a highly competitive vertical. The brand had minimal previous marketing efforts, spartan listings in app stores (ie screenshots), and relied heavily on word-of-mouth marketing for growth.
Drawing on my advertising experience, I managed the creative direction, brand story, RFP process, and final deliverables which included refreshed app store listings and a sales and support website. We partnered with a talented design studio based out of New York City to develop new branding, digital assets for use in stores and within apps, and a website with an integrated store.
We selected WordPress as the CMS for the site based on ecommerce support, flexible navigation, and ease of content management.
